THANK YOU's

We've raised bulldogs at Dog Bluff for almost 20 years!  I will eventually retire from raising puppies, but we'll probably always have bulldogs running around the farm.
It is with sincere gratitude that we accept the following references from our clients, for without these special folks, we would not have a program!

Check out our "group" page on Face Book.  Search for "Dog Bluff Bulldogges" and enjoy!

DOG BLUFF TADER

Adoption Day

Juan & Lisa of Summerville, SC - Adopted "TADER" (see "Retired" page for more of Tader)...
We just want to thank you and Cliff for letting us adopt Tader.  When we first started looking for a bulldog we talked to a lot of breeders but none of them came close to being as friendly and honest as you.  From the moment we talked to you on the phone we knew that you love all of your dogs and that you only want the best homes for them.  When you invited us up to your house to meet you and all of your babies, that was just another reason why we picked you and asked to be put on the waiting list for a puppy.  To our surprise you were willing to let Tader retire early and be adopted!  We instantly fell in love with him.  He is the ideal standard of the Olde English Bulldogge.  Tader is one of the most well behaved dogs I have ever seen.  He is so loving and we know that we have a new member of the family.  If anyone has any questions about Angela or how she raises her babies please feel free to contact us at juan.guerrero50@yahoo.com.

DOG BLUFF CLYDE

12-18-2011, from Mark Zeno & Family
Hey, everyone!  I am home from picking up Clyde from Angela, the wife and I drove down to get him. I dont know what was better- getting Clyde, or meeting Angela and Clif in person!  Angela you and Clif are wonderful people, I am honered to say that I know you.  I want to tell you that you have FAMILY in Jersey. The ride home with Clyde was great.  He took to us immediately and was a well behaved child. When we got home he continued his southern charm through his interaction with Bonnie, his new canine sister.  (About a year ago, Angela connected us with Bonnie's breeder since we were looking for an adult Oldie.  We fell in love with the breed, and patiently waited for Angela to retire Clyde!)  Clyde is a beautiful dog!  We went to Petsmart today for Clyde's first NJ "field trip," and we were stopped by everyone with questions and wanting to pet him... (He was LOVING it).  He took right to the rest of the family and made himself at home on the couch.  I hope he is ready for the pampered life.  I want to tell everyone that getting a retiree from Angela is GREAT.  The dog is well socialized and is a beautiful example of the breed.  Thank you so much for allowing us to part of the Dog Bluff family.  If anyone want a reference on Angela or her program, please feel free to contact me:  mark.zeno@yahoo.com , 201-230-4234

2011 Tader/Serena pup, "BAILEY"
baileykids9wks.jpg

O'Neal Family of Jacksonville, NC, adopted "Bailey" from the 2011 Tader/Serena OEB litter: Angela, we wanted to share this with you.  We had Bailey to the vet a couple days ago for her second round of vaccinations.  When I showed the vet tech the paper work you had given me on adoption day, she could not believe how thorough it was!  She was so amazed that she had to take it in the back to show all the doctors and staff.  When the doc came in to see Bailey she said that we "had found a really good breeder that knew what she was doing."  I just want to say thank you, again, for allowing us to adopt Bailey into our family; she is doing absolutely wonderful.  She loves to play with the kids and she really enjoys being outside for play time.  I am so glad we found you and your program.  I know you take wonderful care of your dogs and for that we are greatful.

Toby & Lola are loved completely!
tobylolasmiles.jpg

Bob and Connie Ellis of Goose Creek, SC, adopted "Lola" from the 2011 Serena/Tader OEB litter:   We just got our second puppy from Angela Roberts.  My wife was so thrilled with the Toby (last year) that she had Lola paid for prior to conception! We have been dog lovers/owners ever since we have been married and have had two English Bulldogs (EB's) prior to getting Angela's pups.  Having had EB's we knew that they were great dogs but had some traits that are not always desirable.  That is how we looked into and became acquainted with Angela and her OLDE English bulldogge (OEB) program.  Both of our Dog Bluffers are adorable, smart, HEALTHY, and have the best dispositions.  Not only are the dogs great, but so is Angela.  Through our mutual love of bulldogges we have also found a new friend.  We know that Angela only produces excellent animals and we can contact her at any time with questions or just to chit-chat.  She enjoys follow ups on the dogs and loves to see how well they are growing up.  I am sure down the road we will have another family member from Dog Bluff Bulldogges.  Anyone  who may have any questions regarding Angela's program -  feel free to contact us.  We give her the highest recommendation: my wife's (Connie's) seal of approval!    w.ellis33@comcast.net

2011 Tader x Serena pup

Mike Harris of CT, adopted "Mandy" (2011 Tader/Serena pup)  Adopting MANDY was my first experience dealing with a breeder.  I did plenty of research and decided that Angela (DogBluff) would be my breeder-of-choice.  I was a little scared to use a breeder located over a thousand miles away, but Angela made me feel at ease by discussing her program and transportation options.  Angela was available to talk before AND after Mandy arrived.  I called Angela a "lot" but she never made me feel like I was bothering her.  Even though Angela is the only breeder I have done business with, she is the best, in my opinion.  When I received Mandy, she was clean, healthy, and she adjusted very well to our home environment.  My veterinarian was very impressed with Mandy and her puppy kit that Angela sent with her.  I will be getting another OEB, and I will be going through DogBluff again!  If anyone wants to contact me as Reference for Angela, you are more than welcomed to do so.  M.Harris203@yahoo.com .

Kristan Ferrentino of Buffalo, NY - adopted "Buoy" from our 2011 Boo/Clyde OEB litter:
Hi, Angela!  I love the videos of your newest additions.  I am  spreading the love up here in Buffalo, talking up Dog Bluff Bulldogges.  Everyone that runs into "Buoy" loves HER and loves the breed.  Our VET'S OFFICE WENT CRAZY!!!  Dr. Albert  was very impressed with Buoy & fell in love with her.  He tried very hard to find something wrong with her, but could NOT find a thing!  He said, "You have one great puppy, and you made an excellent purchase."  Buoy is growing fast!  We will try to send pictures soon.

My thanks to the Long Family for sharing photos with me.

"Animated" update from Alan Long of Randolph, MO; Adopted "Tar Tar" from the 2011 Serena/Tader OEB litter:  Dear Momma AR,
Hi, how are you? I am doing fine, but I am just a little confused.  You have called me "Tar Tar" from the time my eyes were open, cause my forever family had already named me.  But these guys are calling me "No No Tar Tar" or "Tar Tar No No!"  I just don't get it!  Where did this "No No" part come from and why are they calling me this now?  We have FUN together and the boys are good to me, as Alan watches them boys like a hawk.  I have met a lot of their close friends as long as they were healthy.  Alan asked one of them to leave the other day because she said she had been to the doctor for the flu!  Alan told her that it was not good for her to be around me, and that she could come back when she was well.  I spent my first night in my kennel last night.  I tried and tried to get my way - for somebody to come and get me, but they all slept through it.  I made it, but not happy about it.  There is a nice doggy bed in my kennel but it is not as good as the kids' beds!  Gotta go play now -- the boys will be home from school soon!!!  See ya, Momma AR.  Love always, Tar Tar  chevy7278@sbcglobal.net

2010 Boo/Clyde pup
blazegailsleep.jpg
Blaze is a cuddler!

John & Gail Smithgall adopted “BLAZE” from our 2010 Boo/Clyde litter: Good Morning Angela and Clifton,

Just got back from Blaze's check up and he is doing absolutely fantastic.  Blaze looks wonderful and the vet said the breeder must have known what they were doing (I concur).  He received his vaccines, heartworm prevention, flea/tick prevention, and all that good stuff.  He topped the scales at 19.5 lbs and is thriving on Nature's Recipe (no corn/wheat/soy!) dry food.  He is such a tub of love and we are enjoying every minute with him.  Crate training was no problem at all.  He whined the first night and now we don't hear a peep out of him even when he wakes up.  He just patiently waits for someone to get him.  At any given time he will just grab one of his toys and goes in is crate to play.  We've been making steady improvements with potty training.  Accidents are minimal and he's been sitting at the gate or giving us a little bark when he has to go.  He has already claimed the old lazy-boy recliner as his own or snuggles with his blankies.  Loves his squeaky toy and just got his first deer antler about 2 weeks ago.  We walk the kids to the bus stop every morning (even today in the rain) where we were greeted by a slew of children and other dogs and he just loves the attention.  Then he comes home with me and helps with the housework, like picking up all the socks left on the floor and prewashing the dishes.  Love, Love, Love Him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Thank you for producing such wonderful puppies.  gailsmithgall@gmail.com 703-339-5931  Many thanks to the Smithgall's for sharing this VIDEO with us!

Reba was a "runt" size pup in her litter.
rebasleeping.jpg
Sherry made SURE Reba survived, caring for her every need. Good friends are HUGE BLESSINGS.

SHERRY STROUD of Marion, South Carolina, "fellow bulldogger"...  I've known Angela for a long time.  She has been there for me through my entire bully-breeding career, through the ups & downs, never afraid to jump in with both feet & help out. Now that I've retired my own program, I enjoy helping Angela when I can.  Over the years, we've spent many nights birthin' babies.  I've witnessed the time, energy, emotion, and money that Angela puts into raising a litter of Oldies; there is no way to put a price on her work.  She spends more time tending to her puppies/dogs than most people spend on their children.  Angela goes out of her way to keep her clients happy until Adoption Day, and she is always there for them, way after the dogs are adults.  Sometimes I'm the photography assistant... that takes FOREVER, and she does photo sessions every week until puppies go home!  I'm never surprised when Angela tells me that another person wants to adopt a second or third pup from her.  If you adopt a Dog Bluff puppy, you are getting THE BEST of the bully world.   sherry.stroud@yahoo.com

Tyson is an Olde English Bulldogge
lyndseyaleightyson.jpg
Aleigh is an Oldie-Boxer hybrid
Lyndsey Grzincic of OH, adopted "Aleigh" (Oldie-Boxer) and "Tyson" (Olde English Bulldogge OEB)... We purchased our first Dog Bluff baby in April, 2008. I was looking for a bully breed but not the typical English Bulldog that everyone seemed to have; then I came across Dog Bluff.  Once I looked into Angela's breeding program and contacted her, I knew that her line was what I wanted in our home. We first purchased "ALEIGH," an Oldie-Boxer from the first Sherman/Chancey litter. I could not have been happier with our new addition. She picked up on commands so quickly, and was very easy to train! Aleigh is very affectionate and she has had no health problems. She loves to be loved by ANYONE.  Shortly after I adopted Aleigh, Angela added an adorable puppy named "Serena" (OEB) to her program. As soon as I saw Serena, I contacted Angela and said, "I have to have one of Serena's puppies when the time comes." Angela and I kept in touch over the next two years (I personally do not know of any other breeders that keep in touch with their clients this way).  In October, 2009, Angela sent me a "heads-up" email announcing the Serena/Clyde breeding in case I was still interested. Of course I was!  Our second little Dog Bluffer, "TYSON," came home February, 2010. Once again, I could not have been happier with our new addition. Tyson is AMAZING; he is bully, smart, and adorable. Aleigh took Tyson in right away as if he was her baby! We could not be more pleased with our "little" addition.  I hope that down the road when we are in need of another family member that Angela's breeding program is still in place, because I would most definitely adopt from Dog Bluff again.  If you would like to contact me with any questions please do not hesitate.  lynds611@yahoo.com

Casey Tyler - Previously a Vet Tech at our Veterinarian's office, and is now blessed to stay at home with her family, providing special pet-sitting services in her home!
As a veterinary technician I saw a lot of "breeders" come and go.  There are only a select few that are honest, reliable, and just plain loving breeders.  Angela and Clif Roberts are of the handful of what I consider to be valued breeders.  They strive to provide the best health care for their dogs as well as place them in excellent, loving homes where they will be part of the family.   I cannot thank Angela and Clif enough for the work they do as breeders!  If only all who intend to "breed" dogs could take a lesson from the Roberts' we would indeed have many more high-quality canine friends in the world!  Keep up the great work, & God Bless!  casey.t@sccoast.net  843-694-9545

sunnycar2011.jpg
See MORE of Sunny on PRODUCED page!

Buddy McClain of Florida, adopted "SUNNY" from our Sherman/Dolly OEB litter -- Buddy took the time to train Sunny, and she is able to go ANYWHERE with her daddy:   Sunny is the light of my life! Among other activities, she loves to go riding with me. When she hears my keys, she is at the door, ready to go, not caring where we're going as long as she is with me. What a wonderful girl she is growing into. I am so grateful to you and your family for this pup. Angela, you do such a great job with the breeding process, taking such care in the dogs you have and choosing the right dogs for breeding; Kudos to you, for giving the time required so you can take care of your babies like no other I have heard of... and I looked at a LOT of breeders before I adopted Sunny. You know I named her "Sunny" for a reason. As you know, I'm a grown man, but when I saw her face she just melted my heart and still does. Even when water is slopping out of her mouth and food drops from her mouth during mealtime, Sunny causes my smile to grow bigger every day -- she is a continuous ray of sunshine.  Anyone looking to adopt an Oldie from you is welcomed to contact me for a reference discussion.  Phone: 863-602-1565 or budds1965@mac.com

kimberrubie.jpg

Matt & Ashley Hague, adopted two Oldie-Boxers from usDeciding to purchase an Oldie-Boxer from Angela was an easy decision after seeing the parents but has become the best decision my wife and I have ever made.  We first got Kimber my female Oldie-Boxer who was our first dog.  I grew up with dogs and have had everything from Cockers to Golden Retrievers but Kimber was the first dog of my own.  She has been a dream dog to own.  She is very smart and easy to train.  We had her house trained in no time and never had a problem with chewing, dominance, or aggression in any way.  She is very athletic but in no way hyper.  Kimber is full of personality and a large part of her personality is her love for other dogs. We quickly realized that Kimber would be much happier with a friend in the house.  There was only one way to go, get another Oldie-Boxer from Angela.  When Kimber was around 9 months we got Rubie. Rubie has just as much personality as Kimber.  They love each other and spend every moment together.  We have never had an issue with food aggression or dominance.  They are both easily trained and socialized.  Rubie loves to snuggle and is give kisses.  Buying from Angela was the smartest thing we could have done when getting a dog.  Angela is very careful about who gets her puppies and maintains a relationship with her adoptive families even after the purchase.  She is extremely helpful and informative for her adoptive families and is perfect for any first time dog owner. She has made herself available to help with raising our puppies from the day we decided to get Kimber.  She is a one-of-a-kind breeder.  I have seen "show quality" breeders who are nice enough but have no integrity in their breeding.  I would recommend Angela to anybody looking for a puppy.     Matt and Ashley   Matt.Hague@hotmail.com

Dog Bluff FIONA (Clyde's sister)
fionastancepond2009.jpg
Young Retiree, owned by Bianca Diefenbach

Bianca Diefenbach of SC, adopted 2 OEB's from us:
I looked into purchasing a dog from Angela for a few months and decided to finally put my name on the list for pup.  To my surprise she called me with a deal of a century.  An adult dog, Fiona, who was going on 2 years old. I was a bit hesitant at first because I intially wanted a puppy but thought what could be better than passing the puppy stage. What made the deal even better was that she was trained and house broken already.  All I had to do was love her.  And that I have. Fiona has fit right into my life. I couldn't ask for a better dog or even a better breeder to have received a new member of my family from.  Angela made me feel so comfortable going out to her place to look at Fiona.  She is full of knowledge on her dogs and answers all questions you have.  She makes you feel like you have known her forever and she loves what she does.  That makes a person a great breeder.  Anyone looking into adopting an Oldie from Angela is free to contact me at smile11481@yahoo.com .  UPDATE, December 2010:  So God has blessed us again!  We heard that Angela was looking for a home for one of her young males.  "AKU" was such a eye catcher that I asked my husband if he was willing to take in another bulldogge from Dog Bluff.  I felt that I didn't want him to go to any other home but ours so I made the call and before we knew it, he was ours.  What a GREAT addition he has been to our family.  If it were my choice I would have a few more dogs from Angela.  She is a great person in and out and I am glad that God has blessed us to have Angela and her dogs in our life!

Heather @ 15 weeks, enjoying Bike Sports
heatherbikergirl.jpg
Serena/Clyde puppy

Reference: Douglas Finn; dyfinn@gmail.com
Heather Finn has been a wonderful addition to the Finn Family.  Our Vet has been so impressed by the Olde English Bulldogge breed!  She compared Heather to a traditional bulldog, and was thrilled with the free breathing, longer limbs, and slightly more pronounced nasal passageway.  She also was thrilled that Heather was free whelped.  Heather is also learning very quickly.  At only 12 weeks of age, she could already sit on command and shake hands!  We love her so much. She slept in our bed for the first three weeks, but has quickly adapted to the crate since week 9.   In all honesty, she just wants and craves attention and love.  She is exactly what we wished for.  She is beautiful, smart, strong and fearless.  Heather is our "four-legged child."  We socialize her with other dogs on a daily basis (as long as it is a healthy dog and we trust the owner).  She loves playing with other dogs and has not been unfriendly to dog or human.  She is absolutely perfect.  Lastly, I would recommend Angela and Dog Bluff Bulldogges.  Angela truly cares for her dogs.  She provides her clients with much helpful information for when you bring home your puppy from Dog Bluff.  I would absolutely get another OEB from Angela.  Hopefully, someday, I will be able to have two OEBs in the family.

MANY THANKS to the CHERRO FAMILY!

Tom & Tina Cherro own THREE Dog Bluff girls!  They adopted "LuLu" and "MaryJane" together as puppies.  "Sassy" was about 6 months old when we decided to place her for adoption, and the Cherro's adopted her without hesitation.  We've had several families to adopt two Dog Bluff kids, but the Cherro's are the first folks to raise three of our kids at the same time.  MANY THANKS to this WONDERFUL household of bulldog lovers!  Tina is happy to email you the link to her FaceBook page which is loaded with photos of these happy bulldogs!  Contact Info:  cmcherro@yahoo.com , 540-355-1060.

Greetings! I am Betty Boyd. I am originally from Aynor, SC and have known Angela Roberts for 10+ years, and I've known her husband, Clif, since high school, some 40 years now!  There are no finer people than Angela & Clif Roberts. They are upstanding members of our home church and of our community. They served as youth leaders for some years, and mentored our son, Jason during that time. Jason is now an Iraq & Afghanistan war veteran and a Rock Hill, SC police officer (AND the proud papa of a wonderful Dog Bluff pup, "Shiloh"). Clif and Angela have worked with, loved, and been loved by countless young people. Angela's great heart of love encompasses hurting people, disabled citizens, the elderly and youth alike; and of COURSE, she loves her dogs just as much as most humans love their children!  She and Clif are as genuine and upright as folks can possibly be! You can do any kind of business with these folks with no reservations.  You can rest assurred that any puppy from Angela's program has had the very best of care!
Jodi owns TWO Dog Bluff Bulldogges!
osicocoaug2009.jpg

Jodi Ostrander of New York, adopted 1 Oldie-Boxer and 1 OEB from us:
I adopted an Oldie-Boxer pup from Angela in April, 2008.  "Coco" is the most beautiful girl ever!  In the summer of 2009, I adopted a pure Olde English Bulldogge pup, "Osi" from Angela, adding to my Dog Bluff collection of bully babies.  Angela made the adoption process so easy.  She was always available for questions and was very quick to respond to emails.  I found her adoption requirements very fair.  After an interview with Angela, puppies are chosen in order that security deposits are received.  How much more fair can you be?  I feel as though Angela breeds bulldogs for the love of the breed.  She is very particular and takes very good care of her pups.  She is honest, kind and very knowledgeable about the breed.  I would recommend Angela Roberts / Dog Bluff Bulldogges to anyone wanting to adopt from a reputable breeder; if you choose to adopt from Angela, you will be very pleased.  Feel free to contact me by email at jodi.ostrander@esc.edu or jodi9144@aol.com to discuss my adoption experience.

Bonnie/Clyde pup
roxigrownstandingbonniepup.jpg

We can't thank Angela enough for all of the help she has given us and Roxy (OEB).  When my wife and I came to Dog Bluff Bulldogges; to pick up Roxy, we had a lot of questions,  Angela answered all of them and gave us tons of great advise before we left.  We actually felt a little guilty taking Roxy because her home at Dog Bluff was so nice and everyone (including the dogs) was so friendly.  We have never worked with a breeder prior to Angela. Not only were we lucky to get Roxy but we were lucky to find Angela, a breeder who cares so much for her dogs.  Along with a profound love of the breed , she was extremely helpful and a wealth of information, we couldn't imagine ever working with anyone else."  Thanks very much ! ! !

Barney, 2010
barneybeachsnow2010.jpg

Linda Husbands of Norfolk, Virginia, adopted "Barney" from our Sherman/Gracie OEB litter:
When Barney's litter was only 2 days old, the Roberts' graciously let us spend Father's Day afternoon with them; we watched the puppies and tried to decide which one we wanted.  It was important to us to pick our puppy early because we did not want his tail (with a cute white tip) docked.  Barney is the best puppy we could ever have wished for.  He loves people (which is due to Angela's socialization of the puppies while they are still in her care).  On the beach, he plays with everyone, human and canine alike, and loves all the compliments he gets on his tiger-like coat.  Barney enjoys the outdoors and loves living inside equally!  If you want an Olde English Bulldogge, I highly recommend Dog Bluff Bulldogges.  Their puppies are healthy, beautiful, and have wonderful personalities! Calhoun is a Mamma's boy
calhounoliviaweddingphoto2009.jpg
Even on Mamma's wedding day!

Olivia Harris of upstate South Carolina, adopted "Calhoun" - one of our first Oldie-Boxers:   It's official... Calhoun is rotten.  He has the run of the house, and can go outside anytime he wants to.  Still, he prefers laying up on the couch.  He is a nut for sure.  My fiance is really into martial arts, and practices with Calhoun!  Cal actually seems to like it.  He rolls around on the floor like he knows what he's doing.  These dogs can do anything!  Calhoun GRADUATED from Intermediate obedience classes with flying colors and we were invited to enroll in the AKC Canine Good Citizen Certification. In February, 2009, CALHOUN OBTAINED THIS AKC HONOR!  In March of 2009, Calhoun passed the AKC THERAPY DOG test, and we now own a THERAPY DOG !!!  This has been my goal for Calhoun all along! We have big plans for Cal... he's our wonder dog!  harris@scacog.org

Inca

Joshua & Heather Stone, adopted "Inca" (OEB):
Angela, we had the best experience with you and your family! You kept us informed at every step of her development, right up to adoption day, when she was placed in our arms.  I felt like I already knew her from the stories you shared! We love "Inca" so much; she is our baby! She is very loving and playful, and one of the friendliest dogs I have ever seen. I get compliments every time I take her out.  Sometimes I feel like I bought a show dog! She is so beautiful; she is built thick, just like Gracie & Sherman, and she is strong - pure muscle! Thank you so much, from the bottom of our hearts.  stonejcusmc@aim.com

Sherman has learned a few new tricks!
shermretiredmorganwheelbarrow.jpg
Morgan has proven to be a good trainer!

Matt & Amy Gozalkowski of Kentucky, has adopted TWO of our OEB's:

We adopted “Sherman Jr” from Angela years ago, because our family fell in love with DOG BLUFF SHERMAN from the start.  "Jr" was the best thing that we ever invested in.  We have 3 kids, and Sherm Jr fit right in with them.  We put our request in to own "big" Sherman when Angela finally retired him.  In 2009, we got our wish, and Sherman, Sr. came to live with us!  With the right family setting and lots of love, an Olde English Bulldogge is the best pet in the world. They are family protectors, too. With my husband being in the Army, he is gone quite a bit. I have never felt safer when “Daddy” was away, as when our Oldies came into our home.  The only way I would ever adopt another dog is through Angela. She is the best breeder I have ever met. When we were at her home it was easy to see that her dogs are her “babies” -- no matter what, they get the best of care. The time and love she puts into her dogs is evident in the puppies produced from Dog Bluff. I am happy to give further reference on Angela at amygozalkowski@yahoo.com . Sincerely, Amy Gozalkowski

Elaine Fussell of Ambrose, Georgia:
I would like to say I have never met such honest and Christian folks as Clifton & Angela Roberts.  They strive to produce loving, healthy bullies for families that just want a loving, gorgeous Bullie as part of their family... knowing they have a pet such as the bulldogge breed that can love their children and not harm them in any way.  The Roberts' breed for HEALTH, looks and temperament!  And I would like to thank them for all the hard, loving work for the Bulldogge Lovers!  Elaine 912-389-1035.

Arrow & Dori
arrowdori2007.jpg
Both are the continuation of our Valley Bulldog program that began Dog Bluff Bulldogges!

Mary Holmes of Pennsylvania:
I would like to commend Angela Roberts for her efforts in bettering her breeds of Bulldogs.  They have great temperaments, health and spirit, all that makes up a great family member.  Angela truly loves her dogs and helps connect you with the right puppy.  She is readily available either by phone or e-mail to assist you with any questions you may have.  I highly recommend her if you are interested in an Olde English Bulldogge, and would like to thank her for helping me to add a wonderful Valley Bulldog to my family years ago. (We now have Arrow AND his daughter, Dori.)  Angela is not only a breeder, she has become a true friend. You may contact me at tmdc4@msn.com at your convenience.

Chopper

Gay Cormier of Louisianna:
I am happy to give a reference for Angela Roberts, regarding her breeding ethics and her willingness to HELP ANYONE who calls her about DOGS!  We found "Chopper" through Angela's breeding program years ago, and he has been a special part of our family ever since.  Feel free to contact me if you have questions about Angela.  337-351-8921

If you have interviewed with me and you are SURE that you want to adopt from Dog Bluff, then we welcome you to contact our veterinarian for reference on the care we give our dogs.  Dr. Gwynn Hardee owns Meadowlawn Animal Services in Loris, SC;  843-756-6560.  If he happens to be unavailable for telephone conversation, you may speak with staff members about me.  Gale, Jennifer, Louise, Cindy, Joy and Lisa have all known me for years. Dr. Hardee and staff will answer questions that you may have about me, my breeding practices, and my priorities when it comes to taking good care of my bulldog children.

Gauge

October, 2009

Jon Spear of Washington State
I just wanted to give you an update on Gauge.  He's doing so very well! I wish to thank you so much. He has a tender personality. When we watch a movie, he lifts the blanket up with his teeth and wiggles his way under the blanket to cuddle just a little closer. When I work him, however, he's an "animal."  I'm 6'1" and if I hold a toy at eye level, the "frog legs" come out and he can jump to reach it!  We wonder if he has frog in him, because there is nothing in creation that can keep him out of the water! He is also a good protector.  He will not tolerate any threats toward our family or his canine sister, Darby. Thanks so much, again... the Spear Family.  spearzy74@hotmail.com or 509-868-9986

Angela's response to a "rip-off report" posted by a complete stranger, on 10/21/08:
In 2008, I was contacted by a man who accused me of being a bad breeder because I preferred docking tails rather than leaving long/straight tails on my puppies. He also said that I was wrong to allow screwtail puppies to LIVE - that screwtail pups should be put down at birth. I quickly hung up the phone.  I then began receiving offensive emails from him, and I reported this to my phone/internet company. I thought the harrassment would end by blocking his calls and emails.
In late 2009, a client brought the 10/21/08 ripoff report to my attention.  I could not believe the slanderous lies and the direct intent to hurt my reputation in that report. Not only had the "reporter" used poor grammar, but his accusations were completely unfounded. Even worse, there is NO TELEPHONE NUMBER AVAILABLE to contact the administrator of the ripoff website. Emailing them was non-effective, and it was made clear that the report would remain posted for the duration of cyberspace, regardless of any rebuttal I chose to post in response to the report.  Basically, ANYONE can go there to post a ripoff report against another individual or business, without proof or just cause.  No investigation / research will be done on behalf of the individual(s) being reported.  I find this to be pretty offensive and quite disappointing.
I was "tempted" to post a public rebuttal on the rip off website so that readers could click on my website link and see immediately how ridiculous that report was.  But, after careful consideration, I decided not to sink to their level of internet fighting.
IT IS MY HOPE that MY REPUTATION as a RESPONSIBLE BREEDER is enough to convince potential clients that adopting a bulldog puppy from me is a wise decision.  I provide my Reference page for the convenience of anyone willing to take the time to research my program.  I take my breeding program very seriously, and I do things the right way. I provide my clients with all the information they need to raise a HEALTHY bulldog.  I am there for my clients BEYOND ADOPTION DAY, throughout the dog's entire life.  I pride myself on being such a breeder, and it breaks my heart that my program has been slandered. Unfortunately, there are people in this world who get satisfaction from hurting others.
When you learn how many of my clients have two Dog Bluff dogs, you begin to understand how special my dogs are.  I even have one family with THREE of my dogs!  The testimonials on my REFERENCE page are truly the most precious part of my website.
THANK YOU for taking the time to read my response to the crazy ripoff report about me online.  The only thing I can do about it is to remain the person I am, willing to keep my dignity and refuse to allow the lies of one person to hurt the success of my breeding program.
