PLEASE NOTE:  We do not offer “trial basis” adoptions.  IF YOU ARE UNSURE ABOUT ADOPTING A PUPPY FOR THE DURATION OF ITS LIFETIME, PLEASE DO NOT ADOPT FROM US!

H E A L T H     G U A R A N T E E:

We WILL NOT breed a dog known to have health problems!  We welcome you to contact our veterinarian for reference on us and about our program. We follow a strict regimen of preventive maintenance on all of our dogs and puppies. It is our hope that you will follow the advice and instruction of your veterinarian, beginning immediately upon the adoption of your puppy.  You have 72 HOURS (3 Vet-Office Business Days) to have your puppy examined by your veterinarian. IF your puppy is diagnosed with a heart, lung, liver or bone malfunction within the first 72 hours of adoption, you must bring the puppy back to us immediately.  If our veterinarian agrees with your veterinarian’s diagnosis, we will refund the adoption fee, excluding the non-refundable security deposit. To date, we have never had a puppy returned due to poor health!  We are thankful for healthy, hearty puppies, produced from healthy sires & dams. This health guarantee does NOT cover intestinal worms or parasites, mites, skin or eye-related conditions, or "outie" belly-buttons.  We will not refund veterinary, travel, or shipping expenses.  This health guarantee expires seventy-two (72) hours after Adoption.

Puppies are completely weaned and ready to go at age 6 weeks.  For safety reasons, we hire house/dog-sitters when we must be away from home. Therefore, IF a puppy is required to stay past 6 weeks of age, the adoptive client will be charged a boarding fee of $50 per week.

Exceptions to the 6-week Rule:

1)       If puppies are over 6 weeks old when you call to reserve yours, you will have 1 week to pick up your puppy before boarding fees begin.

2)       If your puppy is flying home, Angela will work with the transporter to schedule an appropriate flight date that complies with airline requirements. (No boarding fee.)

3)       If you hire a Ground Transporter to drive your puppy home, Angela will work with that person accordingly. (No boarding fee.)

FLYING PUPPY HOME:
Due to stress levels and risk factors, WE WILL NOT ship puppies in the luggage compartments of airplanes.  We only allow our puppies to fly home in the passenger cabin with YOU or with our puppy flight transporter.

WE RECOMMEND PUPPY AIR-TRANSPORT, owned by our friend, Shannon. The puppy transporter holds your puppy in the cabin of the plane the entire way from Myrtle Beach (MYR) to your airport. Shannon provides the required airline-approved carrier, and I provide a "care package" for your puppy's needs during the trip. Call me for details on this excellent service, as Shannon has never failed us. Advanced booking is suggested. ("Short-Notice" will be more expensive.) Transport Fee must be Paid In Full, IN ADVANCE.  I am happy to put you in contact with Shannon.

Pup must be 7 weeks old for Air Transport, and 8 weeks old for Ground Transport service.  Your pup will be required to have a Health Certificate for any type of transport service.  This vet-issued health certificate  is INCLUDED in your adoption fee.

GROUND TRANSPORT
Sometimes, ground transport is more economical for folks. KEEP IN MIND, however, that your puppy WILL be traveling with other dogs, and most likely for more than one day/night.  Ground transport fees must be paid in advance to schedule your puppy for delivery. NOTE: Please interview with your ground transporter carefully, so that you understand the entire process.  Puppy's Adoption Fee must be paid in full by age 6 weeks.  Please discuss this transport option with Angela for details involved.  Adoptive family is responsible for any additional vaccines required/requested for Ground Transport, including the Kennel Cough vaccine.
